If you've tried it before and it hasn't worked for you, don't give up, just try a new approach with expert help.

My preference is 88-key piano or keyboard (weighted keys), but get the best you can. You can find many great used models or even rent.

Yes, I have students from all over the world that take online lessons. 

The instructor uses an overhead and front-facing camera so you can clearly see the hands on the keyboard and face of the teacher.
